Bridgemate UK Support

After installing the Microsoft Windows/11 update KB5064081 (preview cumulative update for version 24H2), Bridgemate Control Software (BCS) can no longer open .bws files created in the Access/97 file format. This is an older database format, replaced some years ago by Access/2000 in BCS.

Scoring programs that still generate .bws files in the Access/97 format will be unable to launch BCS after this Windows update. Recent versions of EBUScore Pairs generate .bws files in the Access/2000 format.

We are actively investigating this issue and will provide updates on this page as more information becomes available.

 A temporary workaround is to uninstall or roll back the KB5064081 preview update.
